The Open Spaces programme offers an informal opportunity to
explore
a variety of 'extension' topics to the Conference material.
Tuesday 13th Jan: 2.00–3.00pm |
Venue |
Prayer Room (available throughout the conference)
Want to pray more?
Take time out to come apart from the busy-ness, to pray through issues in more detail, in a room dedicated to prayer. The Prayer Room will be open for you throughout the conference for prayer, contemplation, space to think or just as an escape to a more tranquil space. Use it as and when you wish. |

Going Home (and Away) to Play (Neil Young)
Young people in many parishes are now given a few pounds and told to go away and amuse themselves. St. Paul’s Church in the east end of Glasgow has been working with families, taking on board experiences shared with our Zambian friends, to relearn how to play together. This has helped bond a community and a church in a time of change. Neil is a Church of Scotland Youth Worker. |

Code 21 of God (Carole McQueen)
Carole works as an Intelligence Analyst for the Scottish Crime and Drugs Enforcement Agency. She & some work colleagues are planting a “Police Church”; a mission-focused church in the workplace; a church that recognises the lie of the sacred/secular divide. This seminar looks at what God has done so far and the challenges facing the Church as a whole in equipping and releasing people to minister in the workplace. |
