Prayer Room (available throughout the conference)
Want to pray more?
Take time out to come apart from the busy-ness, to pray through issues in more detail, in a room dedicated to prayer. The Prayer Room will be open for you throughout the conference for prayer, contemplation, space to think or just as an escape to a more tranquil space. Use it as and when you wish. |

One of the Kirk's best-kept secrets is that congregations are being re-vitalised through bringing World Mission home to the heart of their worship and witness. Find out how it happens in this session on how you can make the connections. Ken is Secretary of the World Mission Council. |

The New Breed? (Keith Ross and Allan Vint)
This seminar will explore how ministry models are changing today and in the future. The nature of Parish Ministry is altering, and has to alter to meet today’s needs and those of the future. 'Parish ministers' with large organisational entities may take on more of a facilitator/ mentor/ teacher/ developmental role rather than the one the current pattern encourages. Keith and Allan are Congregational Facilitators in different Presbyteries. |

“Sanctuary First” - an example of emerging church (Albert Bogler)
"Sanctuary First" is a contemporary worship service (in both senses of the word!), designed to challenge all who attend, to make worship a priority in their daily lives. The service will help them make this a reality by offering a place on the web that will be known as a sanctuary on the internet. It invites, encourages and prompts folk to set aside time on a daily basis to worship, and, on the first Sunday of the month, to worship with us at a “Sanctuary First” event in various venues around the country. Come and find out more! |
