YouthZone @ The Shed
As part of the CWW National Gathering the Youthzone event promises to be one of the most exciting youth gatherings held in Scotland in years.
The boring and un-inspirable need not apply... But if you have a pulse, a brain, and a heart for God and your generation, then read on!
It’s amazing really, because for the general entry fee, young people and youth groups can enjoy all that they want from the main programme at the National Gathering, as well as having a full programme dedicated to them in Youthzone.
Are we stupid or what? No. Just extremely generous and passionate about the young people in our church and nation!
The Youthzone venue will be a huge shed at Ingliston, totally dedicated to young people from teens to twenties, with an exciting, cutting-edge programme designed to have something for everyone...

So, what’s happening then?
- Live Bands, Contemporary Worship and awesome speakers from the main stage to inspire us, engage our souls and motivate us to make a difference in our generation.
- A late-night fringe programme with more bands, X-Factor, competitions, and general mayhem and madness
- A detached festival in and around the Shed running all weekend with football, basketball, street art, urban dance and dj-ing...oh, and a huge bus with playstations and interactive stuff
- A place to hang-out, meet new friends and go deeper with old ones
- Youthzone will give young people the freedom to be themselves, hear from God in their way and respond on their terms.
Who’ll be there?
The key to Youthzone is that we’re not just booking ‘big-names’ who will come and make us all feel jolly, and then go home, ‘cause it’s actually not about that. It’s about you, the young people of Scotland, the young people in the church in Scotland, celebrating who you are and finding what God’s calling you to be, then being inspired to actually go and do it!
Why? Because this is our time and we know we can make a difference!
Having said all that.... we also know it has to be an amazing festival with amazing speakers and bands too, and so we’ve asked some amazing people to come and take part and lead Youthzone
But we know they’re more than just entertainment, but people we know are also able to challenge and excite us all!
So what should I do now?
If you’re a youth leader, do yourself a favour and book your group in now. If you miss out on this you will live to regret it!
If you’re a young person pester the life out of your youth leaders, minister, pastor, parents; or whoever you use to organise things and pay for you! And get them to get you and your mates there. You won’t regret it, honest!
And a few last things...
Do you have a band that you think the world needs to hear? Or are you the next Leona Lewis or Rhydian? (perish the thought!) Then get yourself registered for our X-Factor competition (see details below)
And if you think your church or youth group have the best footie team in the country then start training, get some kit and come and have a go....if you think you’re hard enough!
Skateboarders, Skaters or BMX-ers bring your gear and some safety clobber and we’ll have some ramps ready for you to enjoy!
