Jonny Baker
Jonny Baker works for CMS, a community that longs to see all peoples being drawn into fellowship with the Lord Jesus Christ. He is a member of Grace which is an alternative worship network. Jonny coordinates worship at Greenbelt and lectures for the Centre for Youth Ministry. He is a songwriter and director of an independent record label, Proost. He is married with two sons.
John Bell
John Bell is a native of Kilmarnock, who lives in Glasgow where he studied Arts and Theology. He lectures, preaches and conducts seminars across the denominations in Europe, North America, Australasia, and more recently, in Southern Africa. He is a hymn writer, author and occasional broadcaster on national radio and television, but retains a primary passion for congregational song. He and the work he shares with his colleagues has been honoured by the Royal School of Church Music, and the University of Glasgow, which respectively bestowed on him a Fellowship and a Doctorate.
Dr John Sentamu (Archbishop of York)
The Most Reverend and Right Honourable Dr John Tucker Mugabi Sentamu is the 97th Archbishop of York. He was formerly Bishop for the Diocese of Birmingham (2002-2005) and Bishop for Stepney (1996-2002). From 1997 to 1999, Dr Sentamu was Adviser to the Stephen Lawrence Judicial Inquiry and he chaired the Damilola Taylor Murder Review, 2002. He supported and advised workers affected by the closure of the Rover car plant in Birmingham and campaigned against guns, knives, drugs and gangs throughout the Midlands, after the killings of Charlene Ellis and Letisha Shakespeare and worked hard to ensure that their killers are brought to trial. Between 2002 and 2004 he was Chairman of the EC1 New Deal. He became President of Youth for Christ in 2004 and President of the YMCA in April 2005.
Michele Guinness
Brought up in a Jewish family, writer, speaker and communications trainer, Michele has worked for national TV and radio, and for two years presented her own daily programme on BBC local radio. For four years she was Head of Communications for the NHS in Cumbria and Lancashire, but gave it up last year to concentrate on her writing. As well as contributing to many magazines, Michele has written eight books from her uniquely Jewish perspective, including “Woman, the Full Story”. Her next book, "The Heavenly Party: Life-Changing Celebration for Home and Community", is out in October. Married to Peter, Vicar of St Thomas’ Lancaster, she has a grown up son and daughter, and a baby granddaughter.
