Fischy Music with Stephen Fischbacher

Fischy Music has been writing and performing top quality, original music for primary age children since 1998. Widely used in schools and churches across the UK, the songs address real-life issues children meet every day: at home, in the playground, on the news and in the lives of people around them. Difficult issues such as bullying or relationship breakdown are treated with compassion and sensitivity, and the value and creativity of every individual celebrated as part of an awe-inspiring world. All the songs are catchy, easy to learn and fun to sing, reinforcing powerful positive messages – often appreciated by all ages! In concert, Fischy Music are renowned for their energy, humour, musicianship and audience participation.

Saltmine Theatre Company

Saltmine Theatre Company is a Christian professional theatre company and part of the Saltmine Trust. Since being established in 1985 the company has toured extensively in theatres across the country as well as being a regularly feature at Spring Harvest, the largest annual Christian conference.

Recent major productions have included ‘The Hiding Place’ and ‘The Screwtape Letters’ for which the company received Edinburgh Festival Fringe Sell-out Show Awards in 2004, 2005 and 2006. The company’s repertoire has featured  ‘The Great Divorce’, ‘The Cross and the Switchblade’ as well as ‘An Alien at St Wilfreds’ and ‘A Year at St Yorricks’ both written by Adrian Plass. Other work by the company includes their Theatre in Education play ‘Ecstasy: The Leah Betts Story’ which has made a significant contribution to the drugs awareness programme in secondary schools across the country.

The Company consists of professional actors with skills and experience in many styles of theatre and workshop leading.

Teannaich Ceilidh Band

With musicians from a wide background of different styles, Teannaich provides a lively, entertaining evening of ceilidh dancing and music. The 5 piece band pull influences from Jazz, Rock, Funk and Folk, with a solid basis of traditional Scottish and Irish folk tunes they add energy and rhythm enough for dancing, listening and socialising.

Over the years they have become a regular in many of the top venues throughout Scotland, playing at The Cally Brewery, Edinburgh and The Riverside Club, Glasgow, gaining a keen following both within and without the folk community. This has taken Teannaich further a field, both in the UK and internationally, with performances as far afield as Inverness to Folkestone and Madrid to St Petersburg.

Teannaich have been in the studio a number of times recording a demo/limited release CD called “Don’t have a cow” in 1998 but their first full released album “Lucid “ was released after almost two years of recording in December of 2002.
