KidZone in The Tent

“Kidzone” does what the title suggests – offers an area where children are welcome and safe. In keeping with, “All you can’t leave behind,” we’re looking at Travellers, Tents and Tabernacles. There will be an opportunity to travel back in time as we look at some of the journeys in the Bible.

Puppets and drama will assist us to tell our stories and retell the stories that have shaped our Faith.
We’ll sing and dance, we’ll draw and paint, we’ll play games and we’ll bounce in a soft play area! All manner of creative expression will be offered and all our activities will revolve around and interpret the theme of the larger event. All children who are in primary 1 – primary 7 are invited to come and have a great time.

Outline of Zone Activity

The area will be broken into the following sub-zones:

• Story Telling: Godly Play/Digi-stories
• Puppets: Making puppets and using puppets
• Soft Play: Straightforward bouncing!
• Action Games: Giant Twister/Dodge Ball etc
• Arts ‘n’ Crafts: Clay/Painting/Crayons/Glue etc
• Making music: Singing & dancing & drumming
  • Throughout the day children will have their faces painted
  • At 4pm & 7pm on Saturday and on Sunday at 6pm an hour long celebration of Talent will be hosted by the Kidzone – kids can share their gifts with the community….sign up by 1pm on both days.
